(Providence, RI) O2 Global Chauffeured Services has acquired All Occasion Transportation, Inc. of Providence, RI in an asset purchase that was completed on January 14, 2010.

John Olinger, President and CEO of O2 Global Chauffeured Services, has served the local market for over 5 years. Moving forward, Olinger's group will be the clear market leader in the state, now enjoying over 25 years of combined experience in the leisure and corporate markets.  Eric Weiner, who founded All Occasion Transportation in 1990, will work with the combined companies in his new role as Founder, focusing on quality assurance, marketing, and national and international business development.

"Acquiring the All Occasion Transportation brand was not just about purchasing a customer list, but equally about purchasing a great company, with top notch staff and procedures.  Eric has built a world class organization over the years, and I'm excited to be able to work side by side with him and our new team in our next phase of growth. I am particularly excited to now be able to service our customers not only locally but in over 600 cities worldwide." said Olinger.

Weiner says, "For 20 years I have built a brand and staff that I am very proud of. Going from a single car operator to doing over 12,000 trips a year in over 600 cities has been quite the journey.  Moving forward, I could not be prouder as I enter this next stage of growth as part of the O2 Global family.  I am excited to be working with a team with so much energy and vision led by the charisma of John Olinger.  I look forward to my position as Founder. In this role, I will lead the marketing team for both the corporate and leisure divisions which are part of the O2 Global family of companies. I am energized by the idea of working with All Occasion Transportation on the corporate and group market as well as retail brand for the leisure market."

O2 Global Chauffeured Services boasts a strong base of retail clients through its leisure brand. All Occasion Transportation has been a leader serving the corporate market for 20 years. Olinger says "As CEO I am looking forward to leading the All Occasion Transportation and leisure brand which respectively have served different markets. There is tremendous synergy between our brands and our clients will continue to be served by the same outstanding team of dedicated professionals."

The two companies, individually, have clearly been the market leaders on both the corporate and leisure sides. By combining forces as divisions of O2 Global, both All Occasion Transportation and leisure brand will continue to offer the latest in technology, 24 hour a day service, and world class customer service.  Tom Mazza, and industry consultant and analyst says: "The deal is a clear winner for both John Olinger and Eric Weiner, but most importantly their customers.  Having known both Eric and John for years I am absolutely thrilled to see these two industry leaders get together and cannot wait to watch what the future brings for them."
